Question about Gb Electrical Gardner Bender GVD-504A Circuit Alert Non-Contact Voltage Tester
The device at times will not operate and then without any objective reason will begin to function again as expected. Does this indicate a problem with the battery strength or possible corrosion internally? How is the batter accessed?
There are two button cell batteries located in the top of the unit. Try removing the black cap. Some twist off and some pull straight up. Note the polarity of the batteries.
