The letter 'i' came off my T41 IBM Thinkpad laptop. It seems to be different underneath than some of the other models. How can I fix this?

Sounds like you simply have NUM LOCK turned on. Hold down the shift key and press the ScrLk (scroll lock) button to turn this off.

Hi,
You have accidentally turned on the "Num Lock", all you have to do is hit the Num Lock key to return the keyboard to normal, it is located at the top right hand side of the keyboard.

You need to press the NUM Lock key.
The NUM lock key is usually the same key as the ScrLk key but to select the NUM lock you need to press and hold down the Shift key and then press the NumLk/ScrLk key. A LED light will light up to indicate the number keypad is on.
