Hi, we just purchased a 46D64U flat screen TV. It was working fine then within the past few weeks, we keep getting a A "Critique show" text message in a large rectangular shape, that pops up randomly. It won't go away unless you click 'done' option on the text box. When you do (hit 'done') it goes away--briefly, only to keep returning. It says "webguide.com" at the bottom of the text box, so I went there online and didn't see anything there that instructed us to turn this feature off. Did we hit something on the TV remote control? We called DISH NETWORK, which is what we have, and they have never heard of this problem. Thanks for any help we get.
Re: A "Critique show" text message keeps popping up
This is definitely not a Sharp Aquos feature. Any show related functions come from Dish Network. It might be a channel specific function which the Dish Network support staff does not know how to deal with.

I am a maintenance guy at a hotel and have seen this problem quite a few times, this pic i sent is an app on my phone that i can control any tv with, check your app store for an LG remote app or if you are unsuccessful there are plenty of universal remote apps, does your tv have any buttons on it, i'd check screen adjustment, source, tools, menu, etc make sure the original remote didnt get wet or sticky, if nothing else works factory reset it, hope this helps
1st you should directly go thru your warranty or else there might be problem with Earthing Connection in your Power line! Moreover you should directly go for Warranty and get checked it! if its ok then its sure that you have Earthing connection problem!
Inverter Board going bad or loose plug, then the backlight board will fail within 3-4 weeks later. Good thing you saved a few hundred on the x-warranty, BB won't do a damned thing for you regardless; it's discontinued & they lie about their 'replacement vouchers'.
A 12" bi-metal blade is recommended for your reciprocating saw so that you can cut this thing into small enough pieces for your trash collection.
If the screen resolution on your laptop is to high or not supported by the TV, that is the usual error message. I'm not sure what video output you are using but if it's the common S-video output, high resolutions will not be supported through it so maybe try a lower resolution and work your way up until you get the message again. Then you will know the threshold.
Try resetting the TV. Here's how to do it - Unplug the TV's power cable. Keep the Channel Down and Volume Up buttons on the TV pressed and plug the power cable back into the outlet. You will hear a click when you plug it back in if the reset is successful. Hopefully this should restore your video and audio.
