Question about Acer (ACERMOTHERBOARD)
I have an ACER laptop, when I press the ON switch the machine just goes from ON to OFF continually. This occurs whether driven by mains or battery power. The only way to stop the laptop is to 'pull the plug' and disconnect the battery! Any ideas? (someone mentioned it could be the motherboard?). Many thanksDavy
My laptop did this after 13 months. It was the motherboard. To replace it would have cost more than the laptop. I found a PC repair shop that could fix the mother board (PCZone, Birchwood). It was the on-board video card. Cost nothing to find the fault and £80 to fix. Works fine now.
