Try this out

Open iTunes.

  1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
  2. Click the General tab if it's not already selected by default and then click the Importing Settings button.
  3. Deselect the option to "Use error correction when reading Audio CDs" if it is selected.

I have an ipod nano from 2006 i believe and it has been charged and songs transfered to the device, but when I unplug it from the computer it goes dead? It's been charged for 4-5 hours.

Try charging from AC power from a wall outlet.  After that if your ipod nano still doesn't hold a charge, then you know that your battery is fu.k.d up and that you need to replace it with a new one.

Ipod nano 3rd generation and 1st generation nano

The first question I'm not sure. Is that the wireless network system that works with the wall outlets for power and networking?

The answer to the second question is No. You can only transfer playlists from ITunes into the IPod. Make sure your playlists are created in ITues before transferring.

Ipod nano 2gb

the way your transfer music to your ipod is download itunes from the internet at www.apple.com/itunes it is FREE and then you can import CD's to your itunes library and then connect your ipod to the USB port on your computer, once you have done that you can chose the songs you want and click one at a time click and hold then drag it to ipod logo it shows it on your itunes program and thats it. ohh.... you can buy songs of the itunes store but you have to create an account and then buy an itunes pre-paid card. it shows you what to do on the back of card!!!

I have a new nano ipod and i want to start putting music on it using CD's of music that i already have, do i need to download soft ware because it will not transfer music from the cd to the ipod

Why not try the Wondershare iPhone Transfer?
I've try this soft and I recommend it to you cause I feel it's good perfect.

With its iTunes UI, it can convert and transfer the music&videos to your iPhone&iPod easily, transfer the music&videos back to the iTunes from your iPhone&iPod perfectly.

Lost registration CD

you can get the iTunes program from apples website

www.apple.com/itunes/download

Basicly you simply need the itunes, and then your music, witch is on your ipod and your itunes account? so I think you simple have to install itunes, login, plug the ipod in and everything should work as before. Might be a bit difrent if the itunes program has been updated from your previous version.

I think you can order a new cd from apple if you need one.

I pod nano

If you received the Nano 2nd Generation (which is the newer one), then your unit does not include any installation CDs. However, all you need to get it up and running is to download iTunes 7 or above. Which is AVAILABLE HERE.

Have Fun!
