hydraulic pump on a 3 tonnes Tecalemit car lift. It replaces a 1.5Kw 3 phase motor. Problem is that although same speed it is inclined to stall under load and seems to lack the power of the old 3 phase.
The motor is a GEC Kapak Stayrite D100L. The motor case has 9 wires coming out of it to 4 terminations in the connector box plus one to the capacitor. These are: terminal 1:black A3,F8,Unmarked live feed currently on this. Terminal 2: Black 22, Redunmarked. Terminal 3: Black A2 and A41, currently connected to the neutral feed. Terminal 4: one Black and one Red both unmarked.
Can you advise whether or not it is connected correctly to give maximum starting and running torque on 220 volt 50Hz please

Im going to take a stab at this not seeing the motor leaves me at a disadvantage though.
Is it really 3 phase? 3 hot lines? are you using HIGH voltage or the lower voltage? Does the plate that goes over the terminals have  a diagram for the wires on it? Should have numbers on it letters wont make any sence to me.
