check memory cards to make sure they are seated and or that they did not die if you have a bad memory card it can cause the computer to shut down.

SOURCE: pc not working

There's a chance that it just overheated and the cpu automatically shutdown. This could be caused by a number of things, including a defective fan or an accumulation of dust. you might try opening up the case and blowing out the dust. If you've let it cool and it's still not able to turn back on, you might have to reset the bios on the motherboard to get it start back up.

My emachine shutdown suddenly while playing games

Hello the is the homepage:

Your pc is probably overheating, due too many programs opened at one time, or dust in the cpu cooling fan.

Try to clean the cooling fan element:

It`s probably blocked by dust.
A pc repair shop, can help you with cleaning your pc, if you have no experience with that.

Try not to use a laptop, for big games, they will not last long.

Good luck

My pc will restart itself ..... but when i play games it wont restart ...i already turn off auto restart.... change the power supply to 500watts... but when i surf the net it will restart suddenly but...

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

hope this helps

I have problem with BIOS

mate it could be any number of problems that are messing up your system.. try booting into BIOS by tapping F2 or Del key as soon as the system starts.. if the bios aint even booting then the situation might be grim.. try booting in BIOS. Please post what happens then so as to proceed further ;-)

My name is amit a class 12th student today while i was playing a game my pc suddenly turned off & when i am trying to restart it a beep sound is coming and my pc does not starts. my system cofigration is...

hai amit, i understand ur problem.............

whenever u get an beep sound from ur system and ur monitor goes blank or completely black, it surely problem with ur RAM.

so to just ensure it is problem with RAM(certainly), try removing and replacing ur RAM on the motherboard and verify whether ur still getting the same beep sound, if yes surely:

you have to buy a new RAM(ddr2) or if you have additional RAM or spare RAM from ur friends, relative try keeping on the motherboard(to make sure that problem is with ur RAM before buying a new one...)

Thanking you
