Question about Nikon D40x Digital Camera
After leaving my Nikon D40x conected to computer USB for a long time.
The metering is not working on manual mode and pics are over exposed.
Auto works fine with correct exposure. I have tried removing battery
and resetting but problem still there. Do you know of any fix for this
of is this a repair job?
The meter should turn on as soon as you half press the shutter. otherwise remove the lens and try cleaning the electrical contacts on the lens and on the camera body.use q-tips dipped in very light spirits of alcohol, make sure you dont leave any debris around the area. caution with the camera's sensor.
