if u want to play 2 player, the person who is hosting the game should start it up and find on the menu(or somewhere else) a multiplyer box or whatever. Then it may give some options on how they want to play. after u finish the options part 4 boxes will come up showing empty spaces where a person can join. The person not hosting should be on the DSI or DS menu and click on the icon with the DS's connecting with waves. there will be a screen that tells u its searching for someone to connect to and when the hosting players name comes up click on it. The hosting player will see that someone wants to join their group on thier screen, so the hoster should click on that. From then on everything else is really simple to figure out. Hope this helps! :)
It depends what game you have. First, you need to see if you have a ds download play compatible game. If you don't you need to have the same game and press host on one and join on the other. If you do have a ds download play compatible game first you need to touch the ds download play option on the main menu and it should say:looking for software availabe for download. Then on the other ds you get on the game and press the mutiplayer option and press (if available) the simple play (play with someone who doesn't have the same game.) On the ds that is looking for software it should show you the option to play the game just push it and it will start loading.
Sounds like a dirty connection or a bad chip to me.
Try simply blowing into the slot and along the chip's connections before inserting the chip. If that doesn't work, and you are feeling brave, use lint free cloth (available at staples) and some Isopropyl (rubbing) Alcohol/Acetone (nail polish remover) to LIGHTLY swab the connection. Let dry completely, then insert chip.
If that doesn't do the trick, I would declare either the chip or the DS bad. Does the DS work with other chips? If it doesn't, chances are the connections between the game chip and the DS circuit board have been loosened to the point where the DS is nonfunctional.
If whatever Baseball game you have has single card download play then activate its download play option from the menu in the game. Then have the other player search for the software you're hosting. If it doesn't have download play, then you can't play like this.
