My laptop, Lenovo thinkpad T61 is having matshita dvd-ram uj-852 ata device is not working. Iam using Windows vista business version. when i tried to check for the problem it says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28). Please go to the device manager by typing and entering devmgmt.msc in run option.
click the plus sign given before dvd cr rom drive and uninstall the drive coming.
then clisck the plus sign of ide ATA/ATAPI controllers and the uninstall the secondary IDE channels.
Retart the machine twice.
If the also the issue is not resoved then you will have to reload the OS again.
