Wireless Device does not exist?

This is a common report when the installation did not install the correct drivers. Try to uninstall, and reinstall. First search online for any conflicts with the manufacturers drivers. You may need to pick and choose between Windows drivers and the drivers supplied by the manufacturer.

Of course, always start by checking HP support online. There, you should be able to identify products that are conflicting with HP Drivers, and Windows Drivers. HP drivers are specially designed to work best with the materials used by HP.

Your solution will probably by found by trial and error of three different drivers (HP, Windows,Manufacturer of the wireless device.)

Good luck

Install wireless card wireless network interface controller

The wireless Adapter Card should have come with instructions....
If not, then it is fairly simple if you have the 'driver' CD.
1. Load the driver CD and follow the Instructions to load the drivers.
2. Shut-down the PC.
3. With the Power to the PC OFF, UN-plug the Power-cord to the PC.
4. Insert the Wireless Card into an expansion slot on the motherboard that fits the type of Card you have....DO NOT attempt to 'force' it into a different-slot.
5. Close it up and Plugg it in and power it on.

Note: SOME wireless cards require that the Card be installed BEFORE the drivers.

for more specific details, the make/model of the wireless card is needed.

My computer died we redid widows xp disk and it came back now i dont have wireless how do i get it back

Hi, you will need to reinstall the wireless card drivers, if this came with wireless as standard you should be able to download the drivers from the manufacturers support website, if it was added later on then it should have came with an install disc with the drivers on it.

Hope this helps

IS MY PC WIRELESS ENABLED? I JUST BOUGHT A PACKARD BELL UTOW-SAN, HOW DO I FIND OUT IF ITS WIRELESS ENABLED AS MY ROUTER IS WIRELESS. IF NOT WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE IT WIRELESS ENABLED?

You can check your pc if its wireless enabled if you have a wireless adapter installed on your system with the necessary drivers, if you dont have the device, then you have to purchase a wireless adapter from the computer shop and install its device driver in order for it to work. If you have a hardware and have the driver installed, you go to control panel and network connections if you have windows xp, you should configure it to get ip from your router in order for you to get connected to your wireless router, and also you make sure that wireless is enabled on your router when you configure it.

I reistalled Windows XP and sincew doing so I have lost my wireless connection

This is probably because your wireless adapter or network driver was uninstalled with the installation of Windows XP. I suggest looking up your motherboard and finding its network driver. If your wireless adapter is a card, then look up that driver as well.

I need to reinstall my wireless internet driver

1. go to the manufacturer of your wireless card adapter
2. dowload the latest driver for your wireless adapter matching the operating system you're using.
3. uninstall the driver by going to start>right click my computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager> go into network adapters>right click the network adapter for which you want to reinstall the driver and click uninstall (you may want to restart your computer). when you do the new hardware wizard may come up and you may want to do either one this:
a. if your wireless adapter is a usb adapter: unplug it, run the driver installation file you download in step 1 and 2 and replug the usb adapter as directed.
b. if your wireless adapter is a pci card: you can run the installation driver file you download or you may want to manually install the driver using the add new hardware that came up when you restart your computer and point to the folder where the driver is (cd or driver you download from internet)
