Need new electrical power supply and foot pedal for overlock

I losted my power cord and foot pedal for my Husqvarna/Viking Huskylock 910 in our last room swaps. (We have 5 kids, so Mom is always getting kicked out of one sewing room or another to make room for another nursery) I would NEVER change that, but what I would change is how hard it is to find where to get new parts for my darn Huskylock ;-(( Do you know where I can go buy one in So Cal, or buy one online. TY TY TY if you do. If you don't, no prob and thanks for your time. Lisa

Oh, was also wondering if I could find an owners manual at the same location, thanks again. Not sure if it is important or not, but my warranty ran out YEARS ago, but is still in great shape. :)

I just happened to be looking at some old postings here and would like to clarify and earlier posting by safenude.
Purchasing Husqvarna Viking products online may not be your best way to go. While some accessories may be available, and maybe even machines, online sales and shipping product to a customer is strictly prohibited by Husqvarna Viking. It is clearly written in our dealer agreement that agreement may be terminated because of it.
Please, find a reputable dealer in your area using the dealer locator link that safenude previously posted. If you find someone who agrees to ship a part to you, they are in violation of their dealer agreement and may not be able to offer you warranty coverage in the future. Reputable dealers do not violate legal contracts to make a buck. Can you trust a dealer that will backdoor the very manufacturer that supports them?

Hi Lisa,

Have you found a power cord yet? My machine just died, but the pedal works. I'd be happy to sell it for a fair price. I found this post while shopping for a new 910.

Welcome to Fixya, I'm the expert that picked your problem to solve. My wife has two Huskies so I know how frustrating it would be for her to not have one especially with a busy family. Anyway, if you're happy with my information, please reward me with a " FixYa" rating and a comment so I can continue to improve my customer service. Since we are not allowed to know our customer's location (for your privacy), I can only provide you with a link to the dealer locator which is....

http://webservices.us.vsmgroup.com/DealerLocator.aspx?Brand=Viking

You also mentioned that you might want to purchase online so this is a link to one (we don't endorse any particular vendor) online dealer, but there are many:

Thanks again for using FixYa!

Good evening madam
It sounds like there is something wrong with the electrical system in your sewing machine. You can check the power and connections.

That serger was made for Viking by the Brother company. Just about any sewing machine repair shop should be able to get you a cord and pedal. Call Viking at: 1-800-474-6437 to see if you can get a photo copy of the manual.

I have inherited a Huskylock 560 ED T without the foot control. Where can I get this part? Thanks, Christel

The first place to check is with your closest Husqvarna Viking dealer. Their web site has a dealer locator, put in your zip code and you'll see your closest dealer. That part may be no longer available because of the machines age, however, I think the Brother Company had a hand in making that for Husqvarna, so if your local dealer can't supply one for you, you might take the machine to a brother dealer and see if any of their pedals have the correct plug style. Also if you call around to Husqvarna Viking dealers, chances are good they may have a used one.
