You can check what audio driver chip in the motherboard, normally it is very close to audio jack. Then try to google your driver .

You need to find out the motherboard model code from looking at the motherboard.

It sounds like none of your motherboard drivers are installed. You need to find the disk that came with the motherboard if you can't find the drivers online.

There will be a specific software driver the sound card needs, then download it and install it.  For example, my motherboard needed the AC97 driver and after I downloaded this, the sound worked properly...

Need Sound driver

you can get the drivers here: http://www.nodevice.com/driver/815EP_Pro/get38348.html , they come in the motherboard packaged drivers, you may be able to install them individually or you may have to install the package.

scroll to the bottom of the page , put in the "letters" they are asking for . Download the driver to your desktop so you can find it. exit the browser and dbl click on the download on your desktop to start the install.

You need to install the Audio / Sound drivers first
For this you need to install the motherboard drivers CD or you need to donwload the drivers from internet which matches your motherboards.
Most of the motherboards are using Realtek sound drivers which can be found on
