It sounds like you blew a fuse or the circuit relay. When installing aftermarket decks they should be wired independently and on there own fuse. Disconnect power to the deck and replace the circuit breaker or fuse to the flashers
On my pioneer, you have to shut the unit off, and hold down the source button. If that doesnt work, try holding down each button "one at a time"... Pioneers have run like that for years. You might find some extra equalizers too. Dont go changin too much.
the new face plate needs to be coded to the deck. with the face on you need to press and hold presets #1 and #3 at the same time. keep on holding and press reset continue to hold #1 and #3 until the unit is in all lighting mode. press AM button one time. p-rom ok will display. press and hold #6 and reset at the same time. continue to hold until display comes on.
Since your problem doesn't seem to be related to auto In-Dash radio units - I will venture some advice here. Take your car to the local dealership that services your make and model of car. Have them take a look at it. The wires that are loose may have something to do with the problem, but they could also go to the driver's side airbag control.
There isn't one. But the car has fuses and the dome, hazard, radio, orbody fuse couls have blown and caused this problem. While your cheakiing the fuses with a light ( test light) check them all. and the new correctly installed fuse will solve your problem and isolar=te this stray wire so it doesn't short again
IT IS POSSIBLE YOU HAVE A FAULTY TURN SIGNAL SWITCH OR A HAZARD SWITCH MALFUNCTION. MAKE SURE THE RELAY FOR YOUR HAZARD AND TURN SIGNALS IS OPERATING CORRECTLY BY SWAPPING WITH A RELAY OF THE SAME TYPE AND RE-CHECK.
If you are talking about hooking the truck to an engine diagnostics computer that will not likely diagnose the problem. The dealer wil have to troubleshoot the wiring and that can get expensive if the tech is not super proficient in that area.
Have you had ANY non factory modifications added such as alarms, remote starts, aftermarket lights, or trailer wiring connections? If so I would start there. you may email me with more details at email@example.com or visit www.brianbell.net. Please elaborate and I will do what I can to help you.
Hi dont know if anyone reads this still. First the finger tip control you have to rewire it into the new cd player with a Autoleads PC99-X26 - Peugeot 206 plus connection to your make of radio. Also the wireing problem some times is down to the red and yellow wires being the wrong way round swap them over and this should solve this.
