You can search Microsoft.
If you still get chance to get in sometime, update last pack asap.

Try F8 safe mode ,step by step boot.
Or book from you CDROM ,Bootable Windows CD. then try to reinstall OS .

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Toshiba satellite a135s2426 no operating system

I'm no Toshiba expert but I have seen many a PC in my time say 'no operating system' because its attempting to boot from the HDD and there is no partition (or OS for that matter) present. When you run the normal Windows install, I believe the second screen after welcome prompts you to create a partition and install the OS. I don't think this is happening with however you are using the discs and this is why the PC boots and prompts no OS. I'm sure your following in instructions, so Google this model and see if others are having a similar problem with their backup discs, there may be some sort of special workaround available.

Flashing off and back on

sounds like perhaps you are experiencing the beginnings of a failure mode for laptops, where the LCD/screen connections are starting to give it up. I have a Sony with a similar issue, and I leave it permanently open, instead of jockeying with the screen to stay on. Sooner or later, that screen MAY need to be replaced. Not quite sure what causes it, but what cures it is a new LCD with ribbon cables included. Not cheap either. I'll bet it still works with external monitor, right?

Got backup?
