JWin 2.4 GHz wireless video monitor

I have a jwin 2.4 ghz wireless video monitor that says it can be hooked to a vcr to record what is seen on the little tv. Yet, when I hook it up, I get no picture at all. Any help would be appreciated as I have two neighbor boys throwing dog poo in my pool and I want to catch them red handed.

Re: JWin 2.4 GHz wireless video monitor

As am not conversant with the type set mentioned,I can only suggest u check if the video-out/rec-out connexion has a switch on the remote or manual, check that you connect to vcr line in and set your monitor to view vcr output, good luck.

Most of these universal remotes don't always have the same features as the original remote. I usually just keep the old remote for just that purpose---to set the T-Set. Otherwise, sorry.

Hey my tv screen work for a little a while and then turn off

I just fixed one JV-TV2040 monitor that worked intermittently. Turns out the AC power adapter was bad. The wire was cracked inside the strain relief where it goes into the adapter. You can either replace the adapter with a suitable replacement or do like I did and carefully hacksaw the case open, chop out about 4 inches of bad cable, and resolder to the circuit board. I glued the repaired unit back together with silicone glue.

Hello. If you have your vcr or dvd hooked up to your tv it will over ride channels and the video will appear as long as you have the tv on channel 3 for some setups or channel 4 for others. Joe

I want to connect camera and VCR to my GE 5

Yes. Take the monitor, camera and VCR to any radio shack store and they will show you what cables you need. In the event that the monitor has no external plugs to recieve signals they can recommend a local shop that will add the connectors to the tv.

A couple possible ways:

1. The VCR has 2 threaded coax connectors on the back. One is input for your cable or satellite. The other is the output to the TV. You would set the TV on channel 3 or 4 (selectable on the back of the VCR). Put TV on channel 3, insert a tape and press play. When the VCR is off, the cable or satellite input is routed to the TV.

2. If your TV has Video and Audio RCA connectors, you can connect the VCR that way. You would then put the TV on Video 1 or Video 2 or whatever your TV set supports.

Good luck!

It has not the C405 capacitor

if your are a technician , you will be able to do that.
remove the back, carefully remove the main board, plug the tv. with the multimeter on DC voltage, check the voltage at that point . If you find a 10V , the capacitor will be 16V, if 12V the capacitor will be 25V. in general the capacitor have to be electrolytic and have more than 470microfard.

Mitsubishi CS 13101

EXT means external input,i.e.from an outside or alternate source.

That source could be a DVD / VCR , cable box, video game, etc.

2) New dvd/vcr recorders allow A / V inputs only,usually obtained

from a source box ( cable or satellite ) They do not have coax cable input/output,also known as RF in/RF out.

3)The dvd/vcr manufacturer expects the consumer to upgrade equipment periodically. If your TV or A/V receiver ( surround sound) has a video monitor output, problem solved!

Hope I helped you ......T.
