Question about Computers & Internet
I have six USB ports on my desktop computer, none of them work. I plug in my flash drive or webcam and it says that the computer reads it, says it's ready to use and then comes up with USB device not recognized and that the device attached to the computer has malfunctioned.
I use WIndowsXP Home Edition and I have ASRock 775Twins-HDTV motherboard.
The USB ports have not been working for three weeks now, all I want to do is use my webcam!
your usb port has the problem.. try to follow this steps:
1. Try to check if the usb bus is installed, to do this right click on my computer
2. Click manage
3. Click Device manager
4. On the right side click on the plus sign of the universal serial bus controller
5. Check if all the item is in correct
if you are done and then the problem is still the same, try this one
1. Re-install your motherboard chipset
2. Ensure to install and try to look if the computer install the usb serial bus controller
