Question about RCA D52W19 52" Rear Projection Television
I came across your posts while searching for a solution to my problem. The PTV is intermittent. It powers down and after I press the power button it starts the power light flashes a few times then powers down. If I unplug the TV for 30min it will come on and work. Sometimes it goes weeks, some times days before the problem comes back. It seems to be getting more frequent in the last month. I saw your post about caps CP150, CP120 and I had another google that had CP114. As of now all these caps look normal. Is there a TP where I could take a voltage measurement when the power light is flashing? or should I just replace those caps. If I hit them with freeze mist and the TV powers up would that be a good indication that the caps are going?
Thanks for insight you may have.
