This seems to always work for me as my Logitech does this too. I plug in the wired keyboard & use it for about 2 hours, then I turn off the PC & plug in the Logitech again and it usually works. I can't explain why this works but I'm always happy when it does. Good luck.

Why when i type some of the letters dont show up

That would be due to a faulty keyboard, due to old age, lifespan of keyboards or maybe during typing you are missing the key and the keyboard results in not recognizing that command. If it is happening with a deliberate press (even when you press harder) it is due to the contact panel underneath that is making your letters appear. Maybe a cleanup of dust and stuff will fix it, or as a more expensive solution a new keyboard. Ebay ranges keyboards for vaios at around 25dollars

My computer seems to boot up fine but my monitor says no signal and my keyboard doesnt work

You can try tighten up the cable behind the monitor or disconnect the cables and reconnect. You can try another monitor to see whether the mother board and the cable works. Some settings in BIOS may be changed to use on-board video card (the one embeded on the mother board, which is connected on the ports out of the card slots) on your computer so make sure it is using the graphic card that is connected to the monitor. For keyboard, if may be mechanic issue on port or keys or cables if you will not see anything wrong about the keyboard. You can try to use another USB port if it is an USB keyboard or use a USB/PS2 converter if the PS2 keyboard port is not working. If it is a PS2 keyboard, you can check whether the pins are bent and reconnect it. Sometimes that helps. If it is a wireless keyboard, then you will need to fix the monitor and then maybe fix the driver and stuff. You can remove all objects beneath the keys by putting it upside down and shake it or use a blower.

Wont type or misses letters

if you mean that your keyboard is not typing
try blowing out all of the dust from your keyboard using a fine air blower from an air compressor making VERY sure there is no MOISTURE in the lines.
dust causes static which causes lots of problems with a computer and its parts
or if this does not fix the problem
control panel keyboard you can change your settings there
or you might have uninstall the keyboard then reinstall it and its drivers
control panel keyboard hardware then properties you hould see driver details, update driver, roll back driver, uninstall
make sure you have the driver for the keyboard before uninstalling the driver
diconnect the keyboard then reconnect it then reinstall the driver
hope this helps

The keyboard completely stopped working. Unable to type at all...any suggestions? I have disconnected and reconnected the keyboard and restarted the computer.

Turn off the computer, disconnect and reconnect the keyboard, restart your computer. If that does not work, try a different keyboard. If that still does not work than try a usb keyboard instead of a ps/2 keyboard or vice-vers. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

I;ve got a hole in the bottom of my Sevelor Colorado, is there any way to fix it? other than going to someone who can vulcanise the hole.

Depending on the material type, a standard bike tyre tube rewpair kit may work very well! Just follow the instructions int he repair kit and see how you go. At any rate you are not going to cause any more damage than what is already there and there is a good chance the bike tyre tube repair kit will repair the hole (assuming it is not too large of course)

Hello my friend, this is probably virus or keyboard hardware problem.Update your antivirus and make full scan.If this still doesnt fix your problem go to device manager(Right-click My Computer then select Properties, select the Hardware tab, click the Device Manager button) for windows xp or click Start -> in the "Start Search" box type "Dev" (without pressing enter); wait for a list to show up and click Device Manager for windows vista.Next go to Keyboards right click all the keyboard you see and press unistall

Wireless keyboard wont work!

Once the batteries are replaced, you need to "reconnect" your devices. Under the keyboard, there's a "Connect" button. Press it, then press the "Connect" button on the receiver that connects to your computer. That should get it going again.

hmm try to reconnect the ribbon cable to you keyboard and pointer but both is bad. it is probably a broken MOBO or motherboard
no worth fixing. if that data worries you then find a computer that can read that harddrive and use that one instead.

Mx3200 keyboard stoped typing

Unplug the USB (or PS/2) plug for a couple of seconds and reconnect them. That worked for me when this happened on my older Logitech keyboard.
