If your modem has a wireless feature you can do this and on the router you can use its wireless as an Access Point which will repeat the signal of the modem and still allow connections onto it.

Moved the router to a different room and now it wont work

check the physical connection to the router. Make sure that the modem and computer are connected properly and there is no loose connection.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

Trying to create a bridge with two routers

You do not need a bridge if you are using a wireless adaptor on your pc in the other room. Just set up the Belkin Plus router to the WEP security settings you want and make sure the pc wireless usb adaptor has the same settings as the router. You should be good to go. Good Luck.

Wireless network of one

As long as the router has a wireless capability then no.

The simle way to connect is as follows

wall jack -> modem -> router )))) wireless link (((( USB wifi -> PC

If you donot have a wifi router then you should either buy one or get a wireless acces point to plug int the router

assuming you already have everything workin then setting up the wirelsee part is relatively easy assuming you have the hardware.

I can offer more specific advice if required to set up if required

How to use this unit as a Access Point for an existing Wireless Home Network

set the second router through the web menus to a different ip address, cant have 2 devices on the same (default) 192.168.0.1 address, try 192.168.0.2 (example only) to stop data collisions
connect by cable secondary router lan port 1 to the primary router lan port 4 (any lan port to any lan port),
drag secondary router upstairs on its cable and install it wherever you want
set two routers on different channels.
set all wep settings on both routers the same.
set all pcs to 'auto channel' select
wireless adaptors in pcs will then select strongest signal at any point and transmit thru that router

My 3 different mac laptops with airport can't connect to my wirless

Sounds like you might be accidentally connecting to a neighbour's network instead of your own. You need to go into your wireless settings on each laptop and tell them to connect to your own network.
