Question about Washing Machines
I have a Duet Sport Washer WFW8300SW01 and I don't know what the error messages mean. They are SD and F1. Help
The "sd" is a code for a suds lock. if you have the wrong soap, needs to be the HE type, or too much soap it will suds inside and cause this failure, choose the rinse and spin cycle to remove any soap suds.
the f1 code is an internal failure in the computer and may need to be reset by just unplugging the unit for a few minutes and the trying it again.
i hope you can just clear the suds and it will be ok, if not then the main control board will need to be replaced.
if your unit is not too old then call whirlpool and see if they will help you with the cost of replacing the board.
