If you have archived them, you can retrieve them. If you deleted them, then they are gone and you cannot get them back.
To retrieve archived messages, go to your message box, click on "more" it is located beside the "message request" link. Once you've clicked on the more link you will see "archived", click on that and you will see all your messages that have been archived.
I have attached a photo just in case my instructions are not clear.
Unfortunately, once a text is deleted from the device it isn't able to be retrieved. Now if it's a different kind of message you may have some options. The only way to get that text back would be to have it resent.
If you are referring to Voicemail messages, your only bet is to contact Straight talk and see if they save them for a period of time after you delete them. Same may go for text msg's as well. Not all companies will save them once you delete them. Usually once you delete them off the device, they are gone, however, I have heard of some companies saving them for a period of time (like 30 days) once you delete them aka archiving them. If they don't archive them for later retrieval then sadly you may be SOL.... :( Good Luck! Hope this was useful!
Hello!!!
Did you actually delete the message, or just archive it? If you were viewing the message and just hit the X, the message would have been archived and is retrievable. But, if you selected the message and went to "actions-->delete conversation" it's gone forever.
If you did just archive the message you can go to your inbox and click "other-->archived" and it'll show your archived messages. If you fully deleted the message though, Facebook doesn't offer any recovery support to get it back.
Hi Joyce
Did you actually delete the message, or just archive it? If you were viewing the message and just hit the X, the message would have been archived and is retrievable.

All the best.
You cannot retrieve deleted messages, but you can go back and find
messages you archived. Archiving a message hides it from your messages
view, while deleting a message permanently removes the entire
conversation and its history.
Please download latest version of Yahoo Messenger....... and use following instructions -
Click the Messenger menu in Messenger.
Select Preferences.
Click the Archive category.
Check the Enable Archiving option. Enable each item
that you want to archive. If you'd like to automatically delete
archives after a certain number of days, place a check in the box next
to Automatically Delete Files Older Than and enter a number.
Click OK at the bottom of the window.
Please Note: Uncheck the Enable Archiving option if you'd like to disable Archiving.
To view your archive:
Click the Contacts menu in Messenger.
Select Message Archive.
A new window called Message Archive for {your ID} should appear.
Select the archive folder you want to review.
To delete your archive:
Click the Contacts menu in Messenger.
Select Message Archive.
A new window called Message Archive for {your ID} should appear.
Select the Messages folder and then click the X button if you want to delete your complete Message Archive or select the desired folder and then click X to selectively delete.
A few things to remember:
Under the Message menu, you can reply, save, and print messages, as well as view your archiving preferences.
Under the Edit menu, you can copy messages to your clipboard or delete messages.
Under the View menu, you can enable timestamps.
Please Note: Archives (.dat files located on your
system) are encrypted and can only be viewed by the Yahoo! ID that
created them. These archives are stored locally on your system, so the
conversations held on that specific computer are only accessible from
that computer. Once archives are deleted, they're gone, and cannot be
retrieved.
Please vote after working... Best regards, Pramod Bhikam Singh
unfortunatly I'm afraid once you delete them they are gone, they only thing I could think of to do is contact your wireless carrier and ask for a record of your text messages if they are really that important. Hope this helps!
