If the power indicator is flashing that means that it's getting power, but there is not enough power, the first thing you should do is check the adapter power supply with a multimeter and make sure that it's outputing the correct power, if it's not then you need to replace the adapter. If it's then it's more complex.

Hi, it depends upon what kind of error s you get, when it is shutting down you should contact gateway for the OS restoration CD if it came preinstalled, but it will depend upon their policy for shipping lost media.
Hi I have two alternatives to solving your problem the first is if your PC is still under warranty have the store replace the said keyboard and everything will be fine failing that the only other solution is to take it to a reputable store for them to fix it for you hope this is of any help
