Wondered if you could troubleshoot my Officejet 6210 xi All in one printer to see if the fax portion of the printer is working properly. Intermettingly I can send a fax and it works other times it does not.Presenly I cannot recieve any faxes either. Can you assist and troubleshoot?

HP's check for a dial-tone every time you turn them on and will nag you if it doesn't find one.

Do you have DSL or any other type of DIGITAL phone service?

Fax machines are ANALOG devices.
