Hello Carlo,
When you say your printer doesn't print correctly, could you give some more details? What is the problem with the printing?

Also, could you may attach a photo / card scan which shows the problem? The internal test card would be best (press the small test button on the rear of the printer.

Regards,

MC.

When the heater is on in my 2003 Freelander, I get a film on my windshield and front windows. There is no smell of coolant and the heater core is not leaking. Any suggestions? Running defrost doesn

I believe the film on your window is coolant vapor. To test this go to autozone or similar and get a coolant leak detection kit. The kit contains a UV flashlight a pair of glasses and a dye you add to the radiator. Add the dye to radiator, drive vehicle normally but run heater, let film condensation on Windows. Wait until dark and put on the glasses. Shine light on the Windows that have film if the window glows then the film is antifreeze vapor and not safe to breathe.

I have a Nikon FM3 and the shutter opens at the correct speeds but when I put B&W film in it (Kodak TX 400) and develope the film, there is nothing on the film like it was brand new. Help please.

Check to make sure that the film is properly inserted into the take-up spool, and watch the rewind knob and make sure it is turning indicating that the film is going through the camera. Also check to make sure that the multi-exposure lever isn't stuck in the on position by spillage or impact so the camera just keeps taking exposure on one frame and the film doesn't move.

SL/DV280 DVD/CD PLAYER PROBLEMS TRACKING IS OUT BUT SOUND IS FINE. When I play CDs its fine but DVDs are skipping making it impossible to watch a film, is there anything I can do to resolve this probl

First check the disc doesn't have dirt, finger prints or is very badly scratched. If it happens on all discs you will need a lens cleaner disc. If that doesn't work then it could be damage to the lens or a fault on the unit.

My Polaroid 600 prints out 2 films at a time and the first one is half printed and the second is blank.

Are you using film from The Impossible Project, or is it old original Polaroid stock? The latter will be old and stale and may have gummed up internally. if it's faulty Impossible Project stock, then they will replace it. but you need to check first whether it's a faulty camera or faulty film.

Ultimately, unless you want to waste money on more (very expensive) film, you'd be better to get another Polaroid 600 model and switch your current photo pack into it to see whether the problem is the same. Most charity and thrift shops have boxes of these obsolete cameras sitting out back or throw out a few of them every week, you can also usually get them free from FreeCycle/Freegle or GumTree.

When you swap the film from one 600 to another, slide a photo you've already taken or the original darkslide into the ejection slot to sit on top of the photo pack, if done correctly this ensures that you don't waste another exposure when you swap the photo pack over. .

When you put the film in the meter thats shows you how many exposures you have left stays on the s instead of going to one. The film is being pulled properly and is acting normal but even the sound doesnt...

Hi,

I would definitely be concerned that the film is not advancing. I have a Minolta that has the same problem. I missed many a picture because I didn't pay attention to the meter showing the film advancing. I would just make sure the film is advancing by taking a couple shots with the back open before closing it.

If you are positive the film is advancing, it really doesn't matter what the meter says as long as the film is stopping after each exposure.

Finally, if the film is advancing , but the meter is not, and you want it to, you will need to see an experienced repairman to correct it.

Good luck.

Thanks for using Fixya.
