# Math Problem and Need a Pro!

I need a math person that is good with numbers to work with me on this data and post a spreadsheet to help get this out.
The latest proposed economic stimulus package is going to cost the us 1.2 trillion dollars with interest, if the us used this 1.2 trillion dollars in part
to pay each household one years income based on their prior years tax return . How much will it cost?
I think we all need to know this info and raise hell with our authorities.
I am willing to blog it everywhere, anyone interested in helping?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
goodluck!

### What's the meaning of media in math?

1. The median is also the number that is halfway into the set. To find themedian, the data should first be arranged in order from least to greatest. To remember the definition of a median, just think of the median of a road, which is the middlemost part of the road.

### I have a spreadsheet set up with columns which have dollar amounts which need to be added or subtracted. How can I set up a formula to do this automatically without me manually doing it on each line.

Best bet would be to utilize the "Help" function for formulas. You will need to set up a formula for each column you would like to format. Or simply add a Function (123-456) or (123+123) That way the cell will know the math. Good Luck

### I have a very strange math teacher that collects old math books. One day i asked him how many old math books he has.Being a math teacher, he responded, "if i divide the books into two unequal whole...

Your teacher has 64 old math books.
Define the variables:
n = the total number of books x + y = the number of books divided into two groups (x being one set of books and y the other)
Equation set-up from the problem:
64(x - y) = x^2 - y^2
Work it out:
64(x - y) = (x + y)(x - y)
64(x - y) = (x + y)(x - y) (x - y) (x - y)
64 = (x + y)
Therefore, 64 = n

### Where is the fraction button on the ti 83 plus cac. look like

Hello,
There is no fraction button. Any division of two integers you do is represented as a decimal number. If you want your fraction to remain a fraction you enter it as follows
7[ / ] 19 [ MATH][1:ToFrac] [=] displays 7/19
If you want to convert a decimal number into a proper fraction press [MATH][1:ToFrac] .
Exemple 7/19 [ENTER] gives .36842105. If without doing anything else, you press [MATH][1:ToFrac] you recover 7/19.
There are limitations related to the number of decimal digits in the floating point number.
.3684 [MATH][1:ToFrac][=] gives 921/2500 but
.36842 [MATH][1:ToFrac][=] gives .36842 : it is not converted to fraction.

Hope it helps

### Want to update the dates in excel spreadsheet

Try inserting seperate entry for furture day number and then reference that entry address for program math. You will have to either use same number of days to repeat (automatic) this math or accept that it would be a single shot type math. Depending on which version of excel you are using the alert can be a sound or color change. If 97 or older, there is no alert available. 2000 isn't much better.
Easier to set furture date in orginial date block right from the start. Unless you are running the excel program continuously in the background, program will only check date when running.

Good Luck,
