You cannot program the radio from the DTMF keypad. The HT1000 is only programmable by an authorized dealer or person with a subscription to the software. It also requires a programming cable and RIB (radio interface box).

I need re program my ht 2 way radios

Take the radios to a Motorola radio service shop. If you do it yourself it will cost quite a bit to acquire the interface box, cables, and program to do the job, and you'll have to spend a fair amount of time learning how it all works, and then you still might mess things up. These radios are no longer supported by Motorola but most shops can do reprogramming for you anyway.

I have a motorola Ht 1000 i need to no how to program it with the keypad only...

The HT1000 is not keypad programmable. The HT1000 is dealer programmable using a radio interface box (RIB), cable, the appropriate Motorola propietary software. A sister radio named the JT1000 can be made keypad programmable with an accessory called a programming key.

Best regards.

I own 3 motorola ht 1000 radios 450 -512 mhz & need to program

The software for programming the HT1000 radio is only available by subscription to authorized Motorola dealers and other entities authorized by Motorola. The cost of reprogramming varies from dealer to dealer, but in most cases it is between $25-$40 US, for the first radio, and sometimes less for the next ones, if they are the same model number and clone-able.

FYI: You may find "pirated" versions of the software available online, but be aware many are flawed, and can cause a corrupt codeplug in your radio.

Motorola HT 1000 programming cable

Sorry to let you down, but the cable will only function with the appropriate Motorola software (and possibly a radio interface box (RIB) if the cable type you have requires one.) Software is only available to dealers. If you are needing reprogramming, it is generally available for between $25-$40 US.

Motorola HT 1000

Your radios might need reprogramming. This is done by a Motorola dealer using the appropriate cable and software. The software is not available for end-users. Cost generally is $35-$40 US.

From the information you provided, it is unclear if the radios previously worked together; or if the radios are the same model number. These are facts the dealer would be able to inquire about, and it would help them determine if your radios can talk to one another.
