I have just started using a Simon 3 and it works fine with my cell phone. I call and let it ring twice. Then I wait 10 seconds (plus a few) and call back within 40 seconds. The system responds and I hit * pluse my code then the number for what I want. No real problems, just get used to the timing with the cell phone. Make sure it rings twice (only) the first time and call back between 10 and 40 seconds.

Sorry. There is no option for cell phones. The unit requires what little voltage that comes over the red & green wires to use it. (It's the voltage that makes your normal phone ring before you pick it up, otherwise there is no voltage in a phone line). So without a regular phone line, it's not going to do what you want.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Can I program my Vista 20p to call me instead of a monitoring station? I have a GSMX4G also installed and I purchased, activated and installed a AlarmSim 2.0 card

I don't know anything about the GSM system you've mentioned, but if it connects to the phone terminals then the system can probably be programmed to page you rather than calling an alarm company. There is an entire section in the program guide for alarm paging. However, be advised that you're rolling the dice with security if it's your intention to monitor the system yourself...if the security of your home is important to you I recommend that you have it monitored by a UL certified monitoring center.

How can i default my security code in my samsung s3653w?

Go to settings, there should be a tab for Security. Depending on the theme saved on the phone, you may have to go to Settings, then General, scroll down to Phone Info....

If locked out of the phone, the default is usually 1 2 3 4 or the last four digits of your cell phone number. Goodluck

Which type of siren that must be installed in Prisons, especially large prisons?

In the United States, there are several types of alarms that must all be installed before being certified by BOP.
Cameras, both regular, and 0 lux, or night vision type.
Claxon type sirens capable of producing 115 decibels loudness
Remote single cell door activation systems
Remote multi-cell door activation systems
Shatter sensors built into all the glass windows where an inmate might possibly be at.
New prisons are also installing strobometric flashers, so as to disorient the inmates in case of riot or other unrest in the facility.
All guards in the Prisons must carry handcuffs, and radios at all times while on duty, that way they can always call for help if need be.
Also, in many prisons, motion detection sensors are used so that even if there is no guard right there, the sensor will go off if an inmate manages to get into the wrong area.

I am sure there are other types as well, like heat sensors, and ground vibration sensors, so that it can pick up the vibration of walking across floors.

I hope this has helped you out .

Motions don't stay active when doors and windows are on too.

The system is working as designed. If you arm both doors/windows and motions, but you DON'T exit the premises during the exit delay, the system will "downgrade" its arming to doors/windows only. The assumption is that you haven't actually left the premises and are at risk of creating fale alarms. This behavior can be disabled in System Configuration (though it may require the dealer access code to do it).

Try opening and closing a sensored external door (even if you don't go outside) during the delay after arming doors+motion and see if the motions don't stay active.

Problem about remote access by phone or cell phone

You have the right info are you using the master code?

How to gain access to the Control Panel:
1. Call the panel and let the phone ring twice then hang up.
2. Wait at least 10 seconds and call the panel again. You may wait up to 40 seconds
before calling again.
3. The panel should answer on the first ring. You won’t hear any prompt when the
system answers.
4. Press the * button on your telephone and you will hear system activated.
At this point you may perform the actions listed in the following table of phone commands.
CODE refers to the master and access codes programmed into your system.

also contact your installation company to see if this feature is enabled.

Set up phone number

You do not have to use a monitoring company. Put your own cell phone number in option 05 (no need for pauses unless you are calling an office with extensions). The system calls your cell phone to notify you of any alarm. Also, you can you your cell phone to control the system remotely. I recommend to bring always with you (in your wallet) a copy of the page of the manual that contains all the commands you can use from your mobile phone. I hope this helps.
