Re: i can't find the IP Address on my ARRIS Router!
The ip address should be given automatically by the router but since it is asking, in your computer go to start, run, type in cmd and hit enterm it should open a black box in that box type in ipconfig and hit enter, it should give u a list of result, search the one which says ip address, if the ip address of ur computer is 192.168.1.2,then the ip address for your xbox should be 192.168.1.7, if the ip address is different than the example i gave you just make sure that the difference between the last numbers should be 5 atleast....let me kno the ip address of your computer and i can tell what ip address u need for the xbox...........

You can find your IP address on windows 7,by following the below steps: 1.Start->Run->cmd prompt
2.In that, just type ipconfig and then click enter
For example: It will show ip address like 220.127.116.11
If you want to find your network ip address that is provided by your ISP,visit Ip-details.com .
I bought a used power outlet control unit(PDUMH30NET).I could not find any instructions how to reset to factory defaults to clear out any static IP address and go to DHCP, so I pulled out the card, saw a small pushbutton between the 2 round connectors. I think the following process did the reset but its IP wasn't showing up at the router so I tried a couple of combinations before I found the IP with a PING scan. Take off the small plate holding the card in(2 screws) With a toothpick reach between the round connectors and press and hold the small button for close to a minute. I also tried pressing it and holding it while inserting the card. The card takes several minutes to restart so wait for the green Status light. If you can't see it's MAC and IP address at the router, paste this in a Command window and run it:
FOR /L %i IN (1,1,254) DO ping -n 1 192.168.0.%i ' FIND /i "Reply">> c:\ipaddresses.txt
Look in the file for an IP that wasn't on your network before- that should be it.Put it in the browser and you should get the login. admin/admin got me in.
you have to log into the main IP address, not the camera IP address. If you are using wireless, the camera will have an IP address different than the one for the router coming from the ISP.
I just bought this camera myself and am trying to work out the kinks. My ip keeps changing and i am not sure how to keep it the same, static?
to reset your ip address simply unplug your modem and router, turn off the computer, turn on the computer with out pluging the router and modem back in, turn the computer off , plug the router and modem in wait for the lights to come on and then turn your computer on.
Hey Charlie, If you re-installed your operating system you will need to get the wireless modem driver from your dell disk. For some reason they have not included the drivers in the windows software. If you can't find it then you can go on to the Dell site(obviously on another computer) and enter your service tag and get your drivers that way.
Well fastest, quickest and dirtiest would be to get a network cable plug it into the back of the thompson router and DMZ the MAC address or IP address the Xbox pulls.
That's the fastest, quickest and dirtiest.
For reference on your router, look up DMZ in it's manual and follow the directions. Go into the Xbox and have it give you either the MAC address or the IP address it pulls. Enter that information in the DMZ and you should be set.
You didn't post a model number so best I could do is give general directions.
Careful with that firmware loading! If you load too new a firmware, the webramp will ask for an "UpgradeKey", which you can't obtain because the company's out of business. Then you just have a pretty brick.
