Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
Yes there is a filter in the drain pump. remove the lower front panel and then you will see the pump.
take off the round cover and that is the screen to the pump. with what you have said it is probably plugged with lint and other stuff.
the pump will have water in it so be ready with a towel or a pan to catch the extra water. then whe you have the screen out, clean it and it should drain and work better.
the round screen is about 3 inches in diameter with a flat "handle" on the front of it. you cant miss it so take it apart and you can fix this yourself.
good luck, but you wont need luck, just a towel. about 1/2 a gallon of water.

The filter is probably blocked.
It is inside the base of the machine.
Take out the filter and clean it and also clean out the filter well as that can also hold quite a bit of debris.
