- i have a microsoft lifecam vx5000. i cant get the audio features to work. it shows the mic icon on the screen. and i've been through the audio tests but it still does not transmit sound nor does it receive sound. ?????

Normal 0 Go to Control Panel and Click on Sounds, Click on Audio, then Click on the Microphone. Then Click on the drop down and select Camera Microphone.
Click OK and it should work.
