Pc won't accept printer via usb connection

So why won't it accept the printer? Is the printer and your operating system on the computer compatible? Did you install the printer and drivers? Are you sure the USB Port works?
Have you tried a different USB Port?

Click Start/Control Panel and look for Printers. Open it and make sure you don't have more than one instance of the printer installed. If you do, then you're confusing the computer. You can also check to see if more than one of the same printer is installed by opening a word document, then click File, then Print, and when the print window opens up click the Down Arrow on the line that shows the printer name. This will show you all other installed printers.

Computer has stopped printing in color when printing from computer to printer. Printer prints color when just coping from glass. Is there a funtion key that would cause this to happen that I may have hit...

It is probobly the driver. Remove all traces of the printer in Add/remove programs and reinstall the newest one from the manufacturer of the printers website.
If this is windows vista/7 goto START - CONTROL PANEL - PROGRAMS from there you will remove any traces of your printer.
If this is XP, goto START - CONTROL PANEL - Add/remove PROGRAMS.

My Acer Aspire One will not load facebook at all... any other website it works fine, but it will not load facebook.. it may be trying to tell me something but i'd really like this problem...

the reason it is is because facebook was under construction and they didnt bother to tell anyone till eventually they said it was happening at 1pm but this was not true it was all day as i seen....my mother asked me why it wasn't working and it was because of this......if every website is working fine and one isn't you should assume it is because something is happening with the site that you are trying.....if everything is working fine on every website you try and not on a single website it is always the website that is at fault......i hope this helped

Problem in internal speakers in dell inspiron 1440

Probably just a software setting...many different things in software could cause this.... OS, driver, something... but could be bad speakers.

Try external speakers in the headphone jack.. if they work fine, then probably bad internal speakers.

Software is the most likely culprit.

Printer prints more copies than indicated. Driver reinstalled multiple times.

I don't know if this will help but I have had similar problems. I would notice that one or two particular programs would print more than one copy and others were just fine. Try checking the preferences on the actual programs. Some programs retain their last qty request and don't change unless you change it. For instance, you request a program to give you two copies of a particular document and everything works fine. Then a day later you are in the same program and need only one copy of a document and you get two instead. This is because there is something set in the program or the preferences of your printing device that causes it to retain the last requested quantity for printing. Next time you print check the print dialog box and see how many copies it is showing will be printed. Hope this helps.
