Remote control the buttons on the tv are broken and I can't put the t.v. on and my remote has broken how could i get another remote

Please check if there is a SET button. If there is
-point the remote onto your TV
-TV must be turn on
-PRESS AND HOLD THE SET BUTTON as soonn as you see the volume options.

Use a universal remote control!

You should have its remote control for a re-tune.

The Infer Red eye sensor is on the tv manual control buttons PCB board.The manual control buttons are on the tv right side on the tv frame bazel,tv facing you.Test all the manual buttons like power button,channels + -,Menu button and input button.All the manual buttons work,than the remote control is problems and the causes.The remotes devices are heaviely depend on it CPU chip.The remote CPU is short or dead,if everythings buttons on the remote completely dead or will only partially functions.The remote is garbage,remote CPU is dying.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an original remote or very close to it.

If you connect your Dvd player up via a scart lead directly to the back of your Tv when you turn on the DVD player this will send a voltage to the tv telling it to change to the input that your Dvd player is on.

The power button on the TV doesn't work because of the child lock?
I went over the copy of your manual for your TV. It must be the child lock timer problem.
I would try leaving the TV unplugged for 30 mins and see if that reset the TV and releases the lock.
If it doesn't work, the remote needs to be replaced. A universal remotes aren't really universal when you need to use special buttons. The remote made for the TV is the best.
