Question about Kenmore 73502 / 73504 / 73509 Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

Kenmore Elite model 7957 Lights are on but wont get cold..

We have had our fridge for 3 yeras and now it wont get cold nor will it dispense water. The lights in the fridge and freezer still are on but again nothing gets cold and nothing on the front panel will work. we have tried just unplugging and replugging in but that didnt work.. any thoughts?

Main pcb board seems to be fryed . does it make and noise at all ,.. if not i would start by ordering pcb board

Your water valve on the back of the refrigerator is plugged up, there are two sides to it, one side is for ice maker the other is for chilled water dispenser.You may be able to clean it out, if not then you will have to buy a new valve.Hope this helped.

I received my Elite TRIO 795.7101 2 weeks ago. I have ran over 3 gallons of water though it. I am still getting a bad odor and taste when I dispenser water from the door.

If you can get at the refrigerator compressor, vacuum off the dust that has accumulated on it. This may help.

Frozen water tank, some of these had an insulation kit that will prevent this from happening. Make sure you have water coming out of valve to tank, if so it will probley be a frozen tank. Make sure fridge is on factory settings. If it doesnt thaw out, check into the frozen tank kit...
