2002 f150 cruise inop shows code 3?

  • 3 flashes - deactivator switch is open or circuit defective.
    • Flash code 3 - deactivator switch circuit failure
    • Central junction box (CJB) fuse 13 (20A).
    • Circuitry.
    • Deactivator switch.
    • Speed control servo.
    • Go To Pinpoint Test H .

    Yes INSTALL a new speed control servo. REFER to Speed Control Servo in this section. REPEAT the self-test.

    No GO to H2 . H2 CHECK DEACTIVATOR SWITCH POWER
    Deactivator Switch C1025
    Measure the voltage between the deactivator switch C1025, circuit 10 (LG/RD), harness side and ground.
    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
    Yes GO to H3 .

    No REPAIR the circuit. REPEAT the self-test. H3 CHECK CIRCUIT 307 (BK/YE) FOR AN OPEN Measure the resistance between the speed control servo C122 pin 9, circuit 307 (BK/YE), harness side and the deactivator switch C1025, circuit 307 (BK/YE), harness side.
    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
    Yes INSTALL a new deactivator switch. REFER to Speed Control Deactivator Switch in this section. REPEAT the self-test.

    No REPAIR the circuit. REPEAT the self-test.

probly front axle actuator if not used a bit it tend to seize you can take it of and check it

My brake pedal will not budge, and a hissing noise present when running

The stop lights won't go out until the pedal is depressed, as there is a switch which is activated by the pedal.

A hard brake pedal is probably caused by a defective servo. The hissing noise is probably an air leak in the servo.

Switch the engine on, open the bonnet (the hood..) and see if you can locate the hissing - that'll probably be in the brake servo area.

When I turn on cruise control the light turns on but doesn't keep speed

Tera,

The light tells you that the electrics to the light are working - but cruise control in many cars relies on vacuum hoses and other mechanical and electro-mechanical components to work.

Additionally, if you have a brake or clutch issue - sensor in those sub-assembly circuits would automatically disengage the cruise control speed setting - but could leave the cruise indicator on.

Suzuki gsxr-1000 2011 exhaust valve actuator fi fault

You can definitely ride it without the servo, all 3 of my bikes have the FI lights on as I have aftermarket pipes with the servos disconnected. But I would make sure the servo is open, you'll lose a little low end power, but you won't sacrifice any top end.

No sound coming with protection light on

It's either overheated or you may have faulty speaker wiring or a shorted speaker. These directions come from a Samson servo 120a but the theory is the same.

The following conditions will cause the Protection LED to go on:

Initial power-up: For approximately five seconds after initial power-up, the relay

speaker connection circuitry is deactivated and the speaker output is muted. If everything is operating normally, you will hear an audible click at the conclusion of this brief period, as the circuitry is activated and the Servo 120a begins delivering signal to connected speakers (at which point the Speaker LED will light if the Speaker on/off switch is in its "in" position). It is normal for the Protection LED to fade gradually after the amplifier is powered off.

Overheating: A temperature sensing device in the Servo 120a will cause the relay speaker connection circuitry to be activated (and the Protection LED to go on) whenever the operating temperature of the unit rises above a safe level. To guard against this problem, make sure the Servo 120a receives adequate ventilation on all sides ; in extreme environmental conditions, you may also

want to consider the use of cooling fans.

Severe overcurrent conditions: This occurs whenever the signal being output

from the Servo 120a rises to a level above 20% THD (Total Harmonic Distortion).

Shorted speaker cables: This will occur if, due to faulty wiring, the hot and ground signals being output by the Servo 120a short to one another.

Output impedance drops below 2 ohms: This can occur if the Servo 120a is connected to inappropriate speaker systems (see the "Setting Up and Using the Servo 120a" section in this manual for more information).

DC voltage detected at speaker output: The most likely cause of this is an internal failure. In general, any time the Protection LED lights up (other than during the approximately five seconds following initial power-up), there is reason to be concerned. If this occurs, turn the Servo 120a off immediately and carefully check all wiring and external devices in order to locate and correct the condition that caused the LED to light up in the first place.

Erra code 60 appears when I start my 2007 r1,also engine management light appears and bike has no throttle responce

Fault code No.: 60
Symptom: Throttle servo motor: open or short circuit detected. Defective throttle servo motor. Malfunction in ECU (servo motor driving system).
Probable cause of malfunction:
•Open or short circuit in wire harness.
•Defective throttle servo motor (potentiometer circuit).
•Stuck throttle servo motor (mechanism).
•Stuck throttle servo motor (motor).
•Malfunction in ECU.
Diagnostic code No.: 01

FIRST thing to do is CHECK the ETV Fuse - 7.5A I think - This might NOT be in the main fuse box.

1989 plymouth horizon check engine light on

Code 34 is set when the computer does not detect a voltage to and through the speed control servo. The cruise control computer is built into the PCM, which grounds two windings in the servo mechanism to regulate the vacuum applied to the servo diaphragm.
Note: All Chrysler corporation fuel-injected engines have the computer circuitry and software for the cruise control system installed, even if there is no cruise control installed on the vehicle. If there is no cruise control installed on the care or truck, the computer will interpret this as an open winding and set code 34.
First: turn the key ON, turn the cruise switch ON, and look for +12 Volts on the dark blue/red wire that connects to the servo mechanism. This circuit is fed:
  • from the ignition switch through to 10 (dark blue wire)
  • from fuse 10 to the steering column (white/red wire)
  • through the clock spring to the cruise control ON/OFF switch on the steering wheel (white/red wire)
  • back through the clockspring to joint connect "C" (yellow/red wire)
  • to the brake lamp switch under the dashboard (yellow/red wire)
  • through the firewall from the brake switch (dark blue/red wire)
  • to the servo (dark blue/red wire) A break anywhere in this path (broken wire, bad brake switch, loose connector, etc.) will interrupt the 12 volt supply to the servo and set a fault code. Work backwards until you locate the break.
Turn the key OFF. Unplug the the connector from the servo and measure the servo coil resistances.
  • measure the resistance between the servo pin that connects to the tan/red wire and the servo pin that connects to the dark blue/red wire.
  • measure the resistance between the servo pin that connects to the light green/red wire and the servo pin that connects to the dark blue/red wire. The resistance in both cases should be above 0 ohms and less than infinity.
Disconnect the battery(s). Unplug the 60 pin connector from the PCM and check for continuity between the pcm connector and the servo connector for the tan/red wire (cavity 33) and the light green/red wire (cavity 53).
If no wiring problems are found, check the PCM connectors for corrosion, and reconnect. Reconnect the battery and test the circuit again. If the problem still exists, the PCM is probably bad. NOTE: Personally, if the truck was out of warranty I would try to find for a used servo before buying a new PCM.
