The DVJ-X1 has a fun little bug/feature that is often over looked.
For a cd press the track forward/previous to select the track you want to play BEFORE you insert a disk, once you have the disk inserted and it initializes the deck will cue to that track automatically.
With a DVD you need to also select the TITLE as well as the TRACK most of the time with promo only or rock america disks there is only one track for videos so select TITLE 01 first then the appropriate Chapter.
you need to have the laser disc cleaned as the disc plays it requires more power ( read ability ) to go further along the disc as with all lazer lens they build up dust smoke lint e.t.c this works like a torch shinning when dust covers it more and more over time it dimes the amount of light coming through. you can purchase lazer disc cleaners at most electronics shops that sell audio and tvs
below is a picture of the disc it shows the brushes that wipe away all the dust and built up strems
best of luck please take time to rank this advice if you found it helpfull
You just need to type Numark Hdx in your search engine or on numark's website, and they have the download for the firmware update. Download and burn to disk. Turn on your deck holding the eject button until it ask for you to insert the disk you burned. Go thru the prompts and let it install firmware *NOTE DO NOT TURN OFF DECK* or you will ruin it.
How exactly have you got this equipment set up thanks ???
If you play another song on the computer from a cd original then what sort of output do you have???
Is the sound clear and complete???Bass Treble Mids etc
If the turn table has been set up properly the you will get a signal from the record deck to the computer and head phones too via the mixer.
Next is to check the way sound gets from the usb to the computer
Maybe the USB drivers are required for the computer before it will play correctly.
Try to uninstall then reboot and reinstall.Check again
If this doesnt work then try the make and model of the usb turntable and check to see if there is an updated driver for you computers type or brand or Operating System.ie - XP or Vista
Hope this helps ,let me know if you need more help,
Hi, i know this sounds stupid but have u tried using a different record as the record your using may have a defect which wont allow it to play any further. I would also make sure that you weight the tonearm as much as possible but not to much that you wear ur needles out. Let me know how you get on. Gud luck!
