I have a AVR130 Audio/video receiver,JBL separate ubwoofer 140/230, 4 JBL satellite speakers one center peaker. Kindly explain the connections to get the listening pleasure

Connect #1 JBL Speaker to the Front Left, #2 to Front Right, #3 to Right Rear, #4 to Left Rear, the center speaker to center and the subwoofer to sub out. This will give you dolby surround sound and individual sounds through-out the entire room like the movie theatre.

I have a logitech Z-640 speaker system connected to a Panasonic Plasma TV and the sub woffer has no volume coming from the large speaker. All the other speakers are OK It seems there is no power going

Hi Ray,
if there is no power going thru than, might probably be your fuse in the subwoofer that's blown. What you have to do is remove the wire mesh from the front using a terminal flat screw driver. You will notice that there are screws around the speakers, remove them inorder to take the speakers out.Once you've done that take out the speakers gently so that you dont disconnect any wires inside.Turn the peakers over and you will see a fuse attached to the speaker.Try replacing the fuse with the asme ratings.
Please refer to the image below on what the back of the peaker looks like.
All the best and Good Luck.

I need help hooking up my system from cable box to old toshiba 52 inch tv does not have hdmi on tv red, green , blue wires i also bought today a sony blue ray player speakers are not working ...

Hello,

Please indicate the brand and model of your receiver, BD player and your speakers. Basically, you just need to connect the cable box and blue ray player to the receiver. The 5.1 speakers should be connected to the blue ray player, then another set of cables from your BD player to your TV. When you want to use the speakers while watching TV, you need to turn on the blue ray player too.

Wireless speakers

You should have two pieces for your wireless rear speakers setup. A. a wireless card inserted behind the all in one receiver. B. the receiving box that will connect to the 2 rear speakers. Also, you should not have any obstacles to block off the line of site for the rear speaker receiving box to the wireless card.
Best way to test it is too simply leave the rear speakers connected to the rear speakers receiving box on the floor near the a/v receiver with dvd player built in.Play a dvd and see if you have sound coming out from the rear.

Same as before

That is correct.  I would solder if you cant make the connectors.  they should have two diff sized spades on them.(usually)  I would definately get a crimp kit with crimpers and asst connectors to start.  Also make sure your amp has adequate gnd and large enough power wire with an inline fuse right off the source.  I can make a diagram for that too if you need.

Red light

Have you disconnected the wire from the speaker?? and the amp?? Maybe the wire is pinched as I suggested?? If not then yes I would sy the peaker could be bad or the amp output on that channelis fried.
