You should have received a book with the motherboard that will tell you this.
Otherwise, follow this link to read it:

I need a wire diagram for a Gateway Mother board MCP61PM-GM

Carole,

The front of the computer is the Front Panel.
The area of contact pins on the motherboard, that the main wires from the Front Panel go to, is the Front Panel header.

Would this be what you require, or more extensive?

From a fellow FixYa expert,

http://www.fixya.com/support/t614458-hp_mcp61pm_hm_motherboard_diagram

I know it states MCP61PM-HM
The 10-pin ( actually) Front Panel header, is the same across the board, for ECS motherboards.

For additional questions please post in a Comment.

I need to know how to get the front off of my lg dle0442w dyer.

Disconnect power then using a putty knife, push the blade in the seam between the top panel and the front panel against the retaining clips 2 3/4" (7 cm) from the sides. Lift the top panel while doing this to release the clips and raise the pane.

Open the door and remove the two screws at the bottom of the door opening.

Remove the screws securing the top of the front panel to the cabinet then pull the panel slight away from the cabinet and disconnect the door switch wire harness. Pull the front panel completely out and set it aside.

Reassemble the dryer by following the disassembly steps in reverse order.

Need instruction on how to install a new boot on maytag epic z washer

The boot will have a retaining wire on both the front panel and plastic tub interfaces. You need to remove the front panel wire first. Simply pull the lip forward until you can see the wire. Use a pliers or screwdriver to remove it. Peel the boot off of the front panel and you can see the attachment to the tub. Same removal technique.

Be very careful when installing the new boot to be sure it is seated fully and correctly all the way around the tub. Reinstall the retaining wire. Same installation technique for the front panel.

Good luck.

I need to replace valve coils on Whirpool LGR3624JQ2 Gas Dryer. Problem is I don't know how to access the coil. How do I remove the front panel. Thanks NAL

Disconnect power to the dryer then pull the lint filter out and remove the screws near the opening.

Insert a putty knife blade or similar tool between the top panel and the front panel to release the clips securing the top panel to the top of the front panel on both sides as shown then rotate the top panel up to the rear of the dryer.

Disconnect the door switch wire harness then remove the front panel screws and lift the panel up and off the cabinet.

You now have access and view of the burner assembly where the gas valve coils are located.

Disconnect the wires from the coils and remove the screws from the bracket then lift the coils out. Slide the new coils in then secure it with the bracket and reconnect the wire harnesses.

Reinstall the front panel from the bottom then up and secure it to the cabinet. Rotate the top panel down back into position then push it against the top of the front panel until the securing clips engage and snap into place

I have purchased a Thermaltake V3 black case and am trying to install my M2N68-LA motherboard. The motherboard has a combined 9 pin header for power switch, power l.e.d. and hdd l.e.d. which was one plug...

1) The 9-pin header you are referring to, is the Front Panel header.

(Processor to the top, Ram Memory slots to the right, the Front Panel header is at the bottom right corner on the motherboard)

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00906129&lc=en&cc=de&dlc=&product=3397528

The plastic piece on the front of your computer is the Front Panel.
(Sometimes referred to as a Bezel)

Make a drawing, and notes as to where the individual wires go from that Front Panel header plug, (One-piece plug), to the Front Panel.

Follow the wires from the plug to the Front Panel.

Mark down where Each wire goes.

You may have to take components off of the Front Panel, in order to see exactly where Each wire goes.

For example:
You may have to remove the Power On button/switch assembly from the Front Panel.

It may have the Power On LED light, Power On button, (Switch), and perhaps the HarDDrive LED activity light, in this assembly.

The wires are color coded.

Generally, but not always, when two wires are used in conjunction with each other, (Example, Power On switch, or Power On LED light), the wires will be twisted together.

One wires insulation may be of a solid color, and the other wire may be white, with a stripe in the color of the solid wire.

Example: Wire with Red color, and wire twisted with it may be White, with a Red stripe.

See if these two wires go to the Power On switch.
End of example.

Follow each twisted pair of wires back down to the Front Panel header plug.
(One-piece plug)

See which socket holes the individual wires go to.
Mark it down in your drawing, and notes.

Mark where the individual socket holes plug onto each pin, in that Front Panel header. (9-pin header)

When you are finished, you will have a pinout for the Front Panel header on the Asus M2N68-LA motherboard, and will know where the individual wires go from your ThermalTake V3 computer case.

For the LED lights there is a Positive pin, ( + ), and a Ground pin. (Power On LED, and Harddrive activity LED, for example)

(Ground. Also referred to as the Negative pin. ( - )
This is DC Voltage)

If you have the polarity backwards, (Positive wire of the LED light is going to the Ground pin, Ground wire of the LED light is going to the Positive pin), the LED light will be dim.

(When operating)
Switch the wires around.

If you have questions, or need clarification of what I have stated above, simply state in a Comment.

Pulled off front cover. three sets of wires came off. need to know where to reconnect. white/red wire HDD LED, white/green wire POWER LED, white/black wire POWER SW

Hi. You may want to check your motherboard for this wires to connect to, First, check your motherboards manual and look where the FRONT PANEL is located, then on the front panel or in the manual itself it will tell you where are those wires should be connected to. If you dont have the manual for your motherboard search it on google and do the same, and if still you coudnt find it over the internet then just look closely on your motherboard and look for the words HDD LED, POWER LED and POWER SW, usually those words or the FRONT PANEL is located on the left side bottom part of your motherboard. Hope This Helps
