Question about GE WJRR4170E Top Load Washer
I have a GE model WJRR4170G top loading washing machine, and it appears and sounds like the agitator is slipping while in use. I cannot figure out how to remove the agitator to inspect. I have taken the fabric softener resivour off, and now I am stuck. Any info would be a huge help.
I have a different model, but my agitator came off with brute force. I used 2 allen wrenches in the slots on the side of the agitator to get leverage and then yanked until it came off. The problem is your air bell coupler.

Starting at the center agitator stem, there should be a cover cap or something that is removed to allow access to the bolt or nut that hold the agitator on.
Reply back what you find and I'll help further.
