Maybe the Webcam software from Dell is not set up. Here is a link to download it:

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Hola, tengo una webcam Swift 300
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

your webcam for your driver is not compatible with your operating system (window) if you can tell us the your webcam and operating system detail so we can search proper driver for your webcam

check the cables and make sure they are all still plugged in.. Especially power to the webcam. Next unplug the usb connector and reboot the machine. then plug the webcam back into the computer. If that doesnt work then try the webcam on another computer. It could have died permanently.
