Question about Amcor Amigo4300 GPS Receiver

Amcor 4300 gps system constantly indicates no satellite signal

When I try and use my Amcor 4300 gps it will pull up the options to use, but when I try and find a location for it to direct me to it doesn't work. It constantly says "no satellite signal". Do I have to somehow reset the unit to get a satellite signal?

Waiting for gps signal all the time

GPS satellites are constantly flying over the globe, they are not in a stationary orbit, you have to wait it out until your GPS recieves an incoming signal, it's not always going to be instantaneous..

No signal

If your gps says no signal, you need to check if all the connections on it are appropriate, once they are checked. Turn it off for some moment then turn it back on, if it still does not work, then you need to reset it. After resetting it should pick signal, and if that does not do the job, then it means there is a problem somewhere.
It is either the location you are there is no good satellite signal for the gps to pick signal, or your antenna is faulty, try to use another antenna to see if it works, if that works, then all you have to do is to replace the antenna, and if it does not help, then it means the problem is from the network around the location you are.

Hope this information worked for you.

No GPS Signal yesterday 15th and taday

I can't solve this. But it is happening to me, too. I probably know about as much about the satellite systems as you do. I've got an older aviation GPS I have not tried, yet. Did nextar indicate what Satellite was down and why the GPS would not acquire a different satellite.
