Question about Cobra 25 LTD 40-Channels Base CB Radio
When i am transmitting on my radio to someone , they say it sounds like it has a lot of stiatic, in it can this be fixed
Radio craps cleaner aint cheap i just paid 11 bucks for a 4oz can.

A lot of times the "static" Is actually a loos connection in the microphone or a dirty micke gain control. Radio shack sells a cheap tuner cleaner if you know how to take the covers of and find the mic gain control, spray it in the little slot in the control( be generous) move the knob back anf forth several times. Also if you have another mike wired for cobra, try it and see if it helps. Those two solutions fix 98 percent of the problems. If it doesn't, please let me know. I am very good with cobra radioes and am sure we can solve this problem.
