OK. See if there is a wiring diagram on the back of the refrigerator. Or there may be one in a small envelope behind the front grille at the bottom of the refrigerator. And while you down there, look to see if you see a defrost timer, a little square box, sometimes with a screwdriver turned contol. If you do, plug the refer in , and turn that control some. If the compressor comes on, then replace the timer.
If you hear other actions taking place, wait to see if the timer turns on it's own. If it does, we need to look elsewhere. If it doesnt, then replace it.

Let me know the make and model of your refirgerator.

If nothing is running, then it doesn't matter if there is a charge of freon. Don't even break into the system until you've exhausted all other remedies.

Do you know how to use a voltmeter and read a wiring diagram?

    Is the compressor body hot?
When you turn the refrigerator on or plug it in, do you hear the compressor try to start?

The topic heading is for a refrigerator, yet you say your pump won't run. I don't know of a refrigerator that has a pump (but I am always willing to learn something new!). Are you talking about a refrigerator, or are you calling the compressor a pump?

I'm 99% certain the problem is the defrost timer. I found a wiring diagram for the refer.

It's mounted on the lower left corner, behind the front grill. You should see a slot for a slotted screwdriver that you can turn.

Capri washer

Commonly the drain pump is run by a belt drive, which has possibly broken. You should be able to take the back panel off the washer by undoing several screws, and then look to see if anything is obviously broken.

Engine wont start,,battery works...starter works...not sure if its fuel pump or what the problem is

It might not have enough fuel pressure. Try spraying carb cleaner into the throttle body when you crank it to see if it fires.
