Connect magnavox dvd to ge tv HELP!

GE tv model #27GT271 has only a coaxial connect port (old threaded kind). Magnavox dvd model DP100MW8B has no coaxial connect, only plug in component ports. DVD manual says dvd player must be hooked up to tv. Is there a way to make this work? If so, how? Thanks!! I bought a magnavox dvd player. says to hook up directly to the tv. also have my cable box connected. I have an rca rf modulator. do you connect the dvd player to the modulator and then the modulator to the tv

You need to go get an RF modulator. They can be purchased at Radio Shack or a number of other electronic shoppes for a reasonable price.

The RF modulator connects to the coax cable connector and it has inputs for the RCA connectors.
