Is your theft light flashing when starting with the key or, just with remote starter.

If the theft light is flashing during remote start, there is an issue with your bypass. If a key was used, Check the antenna ring around the ignition cylinder and adjust. Also, remove the key and make sure that it still starts the car at the ignition. If its a hardwired immoblizer bypass wired into the tx and rx at the transponder amp, check for power, ground and ground when running.

If the theft light is flashing when starting the vehicle with the key, gather all ingition keys that you have for the vehicle and begin to cycle them ignition. Start the vehicle with the first key, remove it, immediately start the vehicle with the second, repeat. Timing is essential for this reprogramming process to work. Not more than five seconds can elapse between switching keys.

The theft light flashes when the is off If it is flashing when the key is on I would think you don't have power in the correct position in the ignition.Check fuses and wiring.

2000 ford explorer car starts while theft light flashing runs very rough starving for gas shuts off . changed the fuel already.

Theft light has something to do with the anti theft security system. I know that on GM vehicles, when the TRANSPONDER in the key does not give the correct signal or when the ignition reads the signal wrong, the computer will shut off the injectors or fuel pump. Sounds like this is your problem. THEFT light is an immobilizing problem. Thats why the truck wont run.

1994 ford explorer limited anti-theft

Two tips:
* If your anti-theft system is sounding (horn honking/lights flashing)you press the panic button on your key fob to shut it off.

* If your anti-theft system is armed (but not triggered) it is disarmed when you unlock the door(s) using your unlock button on your keyfob, the key pad on the driver's door, or your key.

Hope help with this. Good luck (remember rated this).

1996 ford explorer anti theft wont let car start when battery die

Do you have a keyless entry? You could try to enter your vehicle using the keypad on the drivers side door, This should turn off the anti-theft security.
