Try to uninstall IE7. Once it's removed, restart your computer then it will revert back to the older version IE6. After that you can opt to install IE7 again or much better a newer version like 8 or 9.
To uninstall IE7, kindly follow these steps:
Close all programs.
Click Start and then click Control Panel.
Click Uninstall a Program under the Programs category
In the Tasks pane, click View installed updates.
In the list of installed updates, double-click Windows Internet Explorer 7. In the Uninstall an update dialog box, click Yes.
Note If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
Follow the instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 7.
When the uninstall program is finished, restart your computer.
After you restart your computer, open Internet Explorer. Click Help>About Internet Explorer and check if it's on version 6. If it is then proceed with upgrading to a higher version again.
Hi smb343646205, Welcome to FixYa! How are you doing? You did not specify the Operating System you are using, whether Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7. Anyways, try to reset the Internet Explorer Settings to resolve the problem. To use the Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature from Control Panel, follow these steps:
Exit all programs, including Internet Explorer (if it is running).
If you use Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run. Type the following command in the Open box, and then press ENTER:
inetcpl.cplIf you use Windows Vista, click Start. Type the following command in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER:
The Internet Options dialog box appears.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Reset Internet Explorer settings, click Reset. Then click Reset again.
When Internet Explorer finishes resetting the settings, click Close in the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box.
Start Internet Explorer again.
The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature restores the following items to their default settings:
if you have xp then uninstall the IE 8 from add and remove prog//
if you have vista then uninstall the updates of windows internet explorer 8// goto program and feature from control pannel/click views recent installed updates and uninstall it//
after restarting the computer IE 7 will automatically get installed// if not them go to microsoft.com and type download IE 7 in search and install// but do this after restarting your computer//
You will have to uninstall ( Reset ) Internet Explorer and Reinstall.
To do so :
1. Open Control panel in Classic View 2. Open Add/Remove programs 3. Click on Windows components on left tab 4. from the list - Uncheck Internet Explorer 5. Click ok and restart the PC 6. Open Control panel and Add/remove programs 7. click on winows components 8. Put a Check on Internet Explorer and click ok and restart the PC
You can then download the latest Internet Explorer from Microsoft Website
1. Open Control panel 2. Open Programs and Features 3. From the list chick on Internet Explorer Self Tool 4. Click Change button on top tab 5. Continue with the instructions on screen
OR you can choose Repair option on Tab to Repair any broken coding in Internet Explorer
Is it one radio station or all the stations . If it's all the stations you try to listen to , then it seems thatyour web browser is not stable . Here is what to do : Just go to www.microsoft.com and download Internet explorer again and install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will solve the problem . any way , why don't you try other Internet communication softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are great also . I advice you to have more than one Internet communication software . I already have three just in case if one of them is corrupted . I have ( Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome ) . just try the idea and you'll be satisfied with the result
If this solution is helpful please click a thumbs-up rating below. good luck
Have you thought about updgrading to internet explorer 8? I personally use firefox now after years of being upset with internet explorer for various reasons, I believe it to be a superior browser to ie. If you are unable to upgrade from ie7 to ie8 because of license issues, firefox is not just a great alternative, but a superior alternative one should consider, IMHO.
try going to tools at the top of your internet browser then internet option then click setting under the tabs section and restore it to default if that does not work try updating your browser to the lastest version
