Question about Computers & Internet

From yesterday onwards, vertical thin red stripes with 3-4 black round spots of different sizes have appeared. Only 10% of the screen in visibile. All drivers looks ok and have no problems connecting to lcd TV using s-video cable.
Any help identifying the problem would be greatly appreciated and helpful in buying the part which needs to be replaced.
