You actually have to call in to T-mobile on this so they can push a software update to your phone to update your fave5. Call in and ask for PDA.

No myfaves

If I remember correctly you have to go to T-Mobile website and set that up then it will send it to your phone, other than that you would have to have it fixed at t-mobile store.

Hi my name is Jimmy, I have a Tmobile Dash. I have just installed mobile 6.1 and it is cool but I have two problems with it. First it dose NOT have myfav on my phone I...

My Favs can still be used even though you can not see the my favs icons on your front screen, you can still call those people as they are still listed with t-mobile and it will not cost you, Also you could put them on speed dial and you can still add pictures to those people in your contacts so you can see there face when they call you, I had a T-MOBILE MDA and it works the simular, Any way with the L instead of the @ symbol could be a language settings problem or it could be the button on your phone goofing up. Good Luck with that.

Myfaves wont show up on my jump screen

Since you took your SIM and put it in her phone it probably needs time to sync with T-mobile server.  If your plan does not include data, it may be unable to connect to do this.  I would suggest calling T-Mobile and asking them to send an update to the phone.  I know when I first got my Sidekick 08 it took a few hours for MyFaves to show up even after it was activated, working and connected to the network.  You didn't mention how long ago you made this switch.  The best thing is just let it rest a few hours, make sure it has good signal and network connection.  It should come along.  (Did you have MyFaves on your previous phone?)

Resetting my tmobile dash?

turn off phone, press and hold the 2 top soft buttons under the screen (not the larger ones with the phones on them). Press and release the power button while still holding the other 2. Wait a few seconds, when the screen changes you can release the 2 buttons. After a few minutes it will ask you to push the call button to reset. Make sure you have your contacts on the sim card, because all personal settings are erased.

Dash stuck on opening TMobile screen

The Windows Mobile installation may be corrupted.
The only way to fix that problem is by re-installing the windows software on the phone.
You can get the software for the T-mobile dash at the following link: http://www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade/
Be warned that if you use this method most of the data on the phone will be lost, like text messages and etc. Your contacts should be fine as the are stored on the SIM Card and if you have been syncing your contacts with your PC then they should get loaded when you do the up

Tmobile dash is getting me p'd off

Mine does the samething. I'm running 6.1 and have found the problem to be the system fails to read the sd card on boot. When I reset my memory I don't put the sd card in until the system has booted back to the start screen. Works fine everytime.

How do you fix a frozen dash

It's actually a pretty easy fix, but it may take a few tries before you get it right. Start by taking out Sim card and battery, after a few seconds, but the battery back in. Then hold down the 2 softkeys (with the dash's on them) together and press down on the power button for about 2 seconds. Let the power button go but not the softkeys. You should get a black screen that will instruct you to hit the Green "Go" button to restore factory settings. Once you do this the phone will reset itself. It will restart very slowly, so be patient.

Myfaves profile editing

I would recommend resetting the PDA. Basically go into the settings and hit the clear storage button. This should solve your problem.
