Question about Gateway E-2000 Deluxe PC Desktop
The front cover for that Gateway in my picture is hinged at the top front corners; the inside surface of it is showing face-up (black) on the top of the case. Flip it upward, around and down to cover the front panel; on the top of the left side cover there's a press-in latch button (kinda rectangular, in the recess that the front cover was hiding). Push that latch button in (toward the outside surface of the side panel) then pull the top of the panel outward and down, away from the case as if the panel was hinged at the bottom. Once the panel's at a 45º angle, you can lift it up and away from the case.
Your case is similar, I'm sure. Look for a semi-hidden latch button hiding in the recesses.
