Incorrect Graphic Card Driver,
Incorrect (or 'out of range' ) screen resolution
Incorrect (or 'out of range') refresh rate.

Boot to shell prompt.

run xconfig

reboot.

That may or may not help.

Can i reboot my ps3 using lenux boot disk

Yes, Ofcourse.
Instructions
    • 1 Select and download a Linux distribution to download. Your options are Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSUSE and Yellow Dog. Ubuntu and Yellow Dog have better support for PS3 than OpenSUSE and Fedora. Links are provided in the first Resource.
    • 2 Locate the boot loader included with your Linux distribution of choice and rename it to "otheros.bld" so the PS3 recognizes it. Your bootloader is either named "kboot" or "petitboot" followed by a version number.

  • Create a folder named "PS3" on the CD or Flash drive. Create another folder named "otheros" inside the "PS3" folder. These folder titles are case-sensitive--enter them exactly as they appear here.
  • 4 Save the "bootloader.bld" file in the "otheros" folder. If you are using a CD, burn it now. See the second Resource on how to burn a CD using tools included in Windows.
  • 5 Insert the Flash drive or CD into the PS3.
  • 6 Go to the "Settings" column of the PS3 main menu, select "System Settings," then "Install Other OS." The PS3 then searches for and starts installing the boot loader from the Flash drive or CD.
  • 7 From the "Settings" column again, select "System Settings," then "Default System." Choose "Other OS" from the options listed on the right.
  • 8 Burn the .iso of your Linux distribution of choice to a CD, if you want to boot the PS3 from a CD. If you're using a Flash drive, see the third Resource on how to put a running Linux installation on a Flash drive.
  • 9 Remove any disc already in the PS3 and turn it off.
  • 10 Insert the CD or Flash drive. The Flash drive goes into one of the PS3's USB ports, located on the front face, in the bottom right-hand corner. If you insert a CD, the PS3 automatically turns on.
  • 11 Turn on the PS3, if it hasn't turned itself on already. Select your Linux distribution from the boot loader menu to boot the PS3 from the Flash drive or CD.

    Help installing linux

    1. Download an ISO image corresponding to your Computer's Processor Architecture (i.e. 32 bit or 64 bit)
    2. Using an Image Burner application like ImgBurn, burn the ISO image to a blank CD or DVD (depending on whether you chose to download a CD Image or a DVD Image)
    3. Restart your computer with the newly burned CD/DVD Image of Fedora
    4. Now select it during the Boot Up process as the medium to boot from (i.e. press "F9 key for Boot Menu")
    5. Fedora will boot automatically in 10 seconds. Launch the "Install to Hard Disk" application after Fedora boots; then follow its prompts.
    Done.

How to install linux fedora 7, already i am using windows 7, now i want to use dual os's , please tell me how to install linux.

WARNING: I will not be responsible for any data loss that occurs. It is recommended to backup your hard disk to external media before commencing any of these operations. 1. Download and burn the Fedora LiveCD. It is recommended that you use the latest version, Fedora 14, instead of 7, but you can use Version 7 anyways. 2. Boot up with the Fedora LiveCD. Select Install. 3. Follow the instructions displayed onscreen. When you reach the partitioning screen, you will need to resize your Windows partition. Resize it to a reasonable size (1024MB =1GB). Leave at least 5GB for Fedora to install. 4. After resizing, select the "Use Free Disk Space" option, and continue installing. 5. Your system will be installed with Fedora and the GRUB bootloader. The GRUB bootloader will allow you to boot into both Windows and Fedora.
I hope this post helps you. I appreciate your vote very much!

Can we install fedora 11 on Intel d102gcc2 mother board ; I tried couple of time earlier to install various fedora versions , but all went in vain, I think the problem is with sata drivers , please advice!

If you've used live CD Boots, you could try and add nomodeset to the kernel line in the grub boot menu. This would disable kernel mode setting, which causes problems on some graphics cards.

In the BOOT Menu, Press TAB while highlighting "BOOT" Option

Just add "nomodeset" to the end of the text..This disables Kernel Mode Setting and F11 will be up and running....

Installation of Fedora core 6 on Amd+ASUS

Your computer is booting up in a video mode or refresh rate that your monitor cannot support. Not sure how you would go about changing it without reinstalling Fedora or doing it from the command line.

If you're using an LCD, try an old CRT monitor, may be able to use the mode you selected. LCDs can usually only support 60Hz modes.
